BACKGROUND

Xing He International was an established plastic manufacturing company that, by its own acknowledgement, wasn’t living up to its name, despite believing in a progressive business, modelled on sustainability.

CHALLENGE

Xing He International wanted to capture this proposition in a language that enabled them to not only adopt a new brand identity, but roots-up cultural change.

Despite XingHe’s positioning as an eco-friendly and responsible plastic bag manufacturer, tapping into the private sector has remained a challenge due to the undesirable perception of plastics on the environment

SOLUTION

Originally known for being just a ‘plastic bag manufacturer,’ Xing He required a new positioning that could pivot the brand to become the go-to manufacturer for a sustainable carrier solution – biodegradable plastic bags.

This was brought to life using the tagline “Cleaner. Better. Xing He” and a unique story to tell prospective buyers.

To give this mission life, we woke up Xing He’s colour palette and brand identity, introducing line graphics that could frame imagery with a uniquely Xing He spin.  

RESULT

There has been a paradigm shift in the customer mindset. With a look that retains eye-catching prominence, yet respects the natural setting, by all accounts, feedback has been extremely positive. Within 2 weeks of launching their new website, they signed the largest single order they ever had and has finally gotten the attention of the industry.
